Here is something a little funny......

Went to my bank last night to get some 50cent wrappers. They were out in the selfserve boxes. So I asked for some, the lady went behind the counter and pulled out some IKE $1 wrappers. I said I would take those also and asked her if she ever got any large dollars. She said no she never gets those any more just like she never gets any silver coins.

It was all I could do to refrain from telling her that her bank has provided me over 18 - 90% halves (Bens, ladies & jfks) and more than 50 - 40% halves in just one month.

I agreed with her that you just don't see silver anymore.

got to love it, I find it is the middle aged to older tellers who whatch their coins. You got to love the sound of silver hitting their counter tops when they lay them out to count for you
