You'll know when you see one.. Although some can be tricky, just search in good light..

Date check all of them until you can rim check without error

I found my 1st 40%er this week and it was noticeable- but it was very clean- others have posted pics where they were dirty and hard to tell so ya I advise also to date check- you might also find a proof

Sight and sound pour the coins out off your hand and if you missed one you will hear it.

Learn what silver sounds like when it falls on a table or against a clad half. Occasionally you'll miss one if you rim search only. The sound never lies.

Okay thank you guys! I have one 40%er but its super clean and also slightly looks clad. I just don't want to date check 1000$ worth. :P ill try the whole sound check thing out in my next box!

You dont become an expert without doing the work. I date checked my first $3000+ before I was comfortable in telling the difference when only rim checking. I also went out and bought some 40%ers to compare and contrast.

Go buy one, and then you will have an example - or just start coin roll hunting by date, until you find one.
