Hi All,

I decided to pick up a box of cents and nickels the other night.....waiting for my halves to come this week.

Found a beautiful 1955 Shiny Wheatie (along with about 15 other wheaties). Also found a couple of war nickels, a 1937 Buffalo (not pictured), lots of 40's and 50's nickels, and some strange foreign stuff.

Was most excited about the wheatie.
I put it next to "regular" wheaties that I typically find.

Does anyone know what kind of error this is for the nickel? It is a 1992. Looks smaller than a regular nickel.

It isn't an error, it is post mint damage, this type is often called a "dryer coin" because it gets that shape from being continually spun around and banged up in a dryer.

No added value.
