Sleepy. Can't believe it's been DEC 2013 since your last merc found in the wild., 5 1/2 years is a LONG TIME. Better get moving before they are all gone from the wild.

Dumped ~$540 today in what I consider to be a nice model of coin counter. Not sure if it's bag or tub yet, but I'm sure at some point I will.

Working on relationship building here in Week 2 of the 2019 comeback. Bank closest to my house doesn't do a ton of business. Today they cautiously agreed to order me one box a week and we'll see how it goes sorta thing. Dumped another $500 today...seems to be going well so far. To increase inflow, one must pave the outflow path. Don't know if I'll ever get back to 30 boxes a week, but I can always try!

Got a "max transaction limit" error on the coin counter while dumping today at just $182. Teller said he'd never seen that error before. Details showed a $2000+ in quarters, so I don't know what that was about. Broke it out into two separate transactions.
Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I'm thinking next week is make or break time. Either we're going to hit my goal of 10+ dime boxes for next week or I'm getting shut down. To be continued...

Coin counter was out of order when I showed up...pushed me off my route quite a bit. Car battery died...Wal-Mart replaced for free since it was still under warranty. Fun day. The hunt must go on!

Yeah, I'm actually looking at getting a detector. The XP Deus looks pretty sweet, but it's expensive. Might have to go cheaper...

Don't know if you saw it or not, but a poster here described buying a like-new White's MXT with pinpointer and headphones over the weekend for $150. If you see a steal like that, don't pass it up!

Goal of 10+ dime boxes met. Starting to get a good baseline for my system in place. Results not as good as I had hoped for this week...would like to see at least an average of 1.00/box. We'll see how things goes next week.

Below are some non-quality phone pics of the error coins I found. The one on the left I'm calling "Rabid Rosie" cause there is a deposit of metal as if he's drooling. Found 3 of those. The one in the middle is a grease die error of sorts I believe. Spans from the date to the LI in LIBERTY. Found 12 of those.
The one on the right is just a plain old 2019P for reference purposes only. Wish I had one of those fancy microscope cameras to show you guys better, but I guess I now know what to ask for when Christmas rolls around!

No CRH - got outta work late. Brand new car battery died! Mass air flow issue...could cut into CRH time at some point in near future, but hopefully not.
