Sleepy's Most Wanted (Roosevelt Dimes)

After having searched through $7,110 worth of dimes, I figured I'd get a Whitman Coin book (1946-1964 Dimes). I'm going to make it my goal to fill it by the end of the year! To the right is my "Most Wanted" List to help keep track of my progress. I want all of my finds to be from CRHing, so I won't be purchasing any of them. Here goes nothing! :headbang: 1)1955

Learned a lot today about one particular part of the city. Mainly to avoid it...The lines were crazy long in all the branches visited. More of an info day today.

Dimes
Box 1: 1947, 1964D
Box 2: 1964D, 1961D //1964D looks real good
Box 3: skunk
Box 4: skunk // 5 cent Cayman Island coin (Cu-Ni)
$120 MWR: skunk

Funny story: I was picking up Box 4 from this bank and the Asst. Mgr. asked if I had an account. "No..." "Well, normally we can only sell to customers." *awkward silence* "Would you want to open an account with us? Is this a convenient location for you?" "How much does it cost?" "Well, we have a free account with no minimum balance that costs $100 to start up." "Sure, this is a convenient location." :laughing7: She gets me all set up and sells me a box. "Would you want to open these up before you leave to make sure they're not all new?" ??? "Thanks for asking! That's the worst when you get home and find out the whole box is 2013's." Open it up...2013's! "Good thing we checked! Let's get you a different box!" *comes back* "This one has a 1985 in it!" "Well, thanks a lot." ---- I guess there's a first time for everything!

Recent Low Volume Turns Up Coin #26

Friday

With my work schedule this summer, it's been incredibly tough to get the volume I want. I need to find a better way to dump. 10-25 minutes per box has been crazy! Not to mention when I get off it's always rush hour! :BangHead: I'm trying to keep up the hunt as best I can here. Today's coin is not only the the 26th coin in the book, but it is also coin #26 on the Most Wanted List.

Alright...Banking hours are looking like a precious commodity for me this summer. I have laid out a plan to acquire 9 boxes of dimes tomorrow. My record for most dimes in one day is 6 boxes and my record for most boxes in one week here in the city is 10.72 boxes. After tomorrow, I hope to see both of these records fall. As always, I'll be sure to let you guys know how it goes. HH sleepy.
