teller tray score

Went and picked up $1700 in CWR of nickels, dimes, quarters and pennies and scored a 1964 90% half out of the teller tray as I was waiting. . Hope this is a good sign of whats to come. I will post results when i get through them all. HH

Oh... Also scored 15 ozs yesterday from my LCS for melt. Paid $24 an oz for a 10 oz bar and 5 oz bar. Not bad I would say!

Gone through 2 boxes of dimes so far and scored 3 silver. $500 in quarters were a skunk. Still have 250 in dimes. 300 in nickels and 75 in pennies. HH

Nice finds. Quarters have almost always been skunk for me-- and I say almost because I found a silver quarter on like the 4th quarter roll I ever hunted about 10 years ago. Talk about setting up high hopes. I guess somebody out there (just statistically) has to score a pretty rare find or even a dream roll when they just start CRHing....almost kind of a little cruel cosmic joke.

I have usually done well in quarters. Usually find 1 per box. I was surprised by this run of $500 because it was all cwrs.

Finished the last box of dimes and it was a skunk but did one box of nickels and found 1 war nickel and a nice 1939D plus several 50's and under.

Still have 2 boxes of nickels and $75 in pennies. HH.

Update. Went though another box of nickels. Scored a 1928D buffalo and a 1903 V nickel. Plus several pre 50's. ill update again asking with pictures later. Still have 1 box nickels and actually 4 boxes of pennies. Thought I had 3 but no I have 4.
