see, I suggested you take a break. That's when the silver comes rolling in!! lol. congrats on all the great finds. I broke my two month streak recently with a couple 40%ers. also got a war nick tonight!

But I did not take a break.

I knew I was finally getting into a new pallet so I had a feeling the boxes should start producing. As stated earlier, taking a break would have done little to change the outcome. The only outcome it would have changed is delayed any finds or delayed future skunked boxes. The only real option would have been to increase my load of searching to get through the skunks faster but that is impossible with my dump situation. Yesterday one of my dump banks coin machines were down so I had to increase my dump at one bank and even dump at a pick up bank. Only the second time that has had to be done in a year and a half and the vault teller understands and she doesnt mind at all but I try not to do it. I would be quite pleased with even a 1 40% average per box.

169 rolls of CW Dimes, 2 rosies, both found in the first two handfuls
55 Rolls of CW Nickles, Skunked

Hit up a garage sale with my mom. Found a whole bunch of Carla 14k 1/20 GF jewlery, picked stuff up at $1 ea. Didnt do too bad, spent $14 and walked out with a bit over $45 in Gold Filled.

Got a sterling piece for a buck with a but over $5 worth of silver in it. I also picked up another piece that I need checked out, it might or might not be 18k. It has 210 and 750 in it. Its small but it has weight to it so it may be gold but I am not sure as to its purity. It weighs in at 1.4 grams picture shows its size to a dime. I will get it tested with my little vial of things to test sometime in the future ( as seen in picture ).

What gives you the impression that either of us is wound tight?

Selling at the auctions just doesnt seem that profitable to me, buying at the auctions on the other hand is profitable.
When you get gold and silver for nothing it works for me. Am sorry that's right I get PAID to take away stuff I haul trash to.I get gold and silver all the time. I just went to the scrap yard and cashed in $412 dollars worth. I have worked for my self over 30 years. I have a 10.000 oz goal for silver and 20 oz goal for gold. Am a stacker .I give my coin shop all my scrap. I find the plated stuff all the time. Most places don't want it!

Your post is kind of confusing to me, not exactly sure where either of them were going. The one about being wound tight and this one. Could you possibly elaberate more or perhaps someone else in this thread can clue me in to whatever it is I am missing.

I give up.. Its just not worth it. If you want to talk on the phone let me know but we both know that will never happen your the type that hide behind the internet. The same with big scores I would love to talk to him to. Again it will never happen.

Constant state of misery = Missouri

As for the liking of posts, does everyone have to go around liking every post etc just to fluff up the egos of the poster or to get attention from others? I could care less if something I post gets a like or even a response. I dont crave the attention, I dont need it. I am one of those take it or leave it guys, I dont dwell on it like so many others do.

As for friends here, I have plenty I talk to on a semi regular basis through PM's but I never felt the need to publicly hold hands. Again, attention is not what I crave.

Now, as for your first two posts, I still have no clue where either of those came from, would you care to explain to me, in clear English where it is I am wound up tight and where the second post came from?

As for the talking on the phone, I hate talking on the phone. My phone is for business, not gossip. I hate texting even more than talking on the phone.

Auction today was BS. The Sterling Tea set was plated. The sterling flatware was plated or stainless. What a waste.. or it could have been had I not hit some garage sales and flea markets along the way home.

First garage sale had nothing.

The second had some scores. Got some jewlery from it and some gold along with some coins.

Spent $9 at the garage sale/storage locker sale.

10k pendent with a crappy mark Which I need to get tested so I wont add it to the list until I do.
Got a Sterling earring set that I plan on reselling so it wont go into the stash.
925 Bracelet with some green gems in it, will likely resell, wont add to totals

925 Bracelet (0.0862)
2 Sterling rings (0.1457)
Merc Dime (0.0723)
1921 Britain 1 Florin (0.1816)
1942 Britain 1/2 Crown (0.2300)
1942 Australia 3 pence (0.0418)

Hit a flea market on the way back and picked up a gold filled pin for a buck

1/20th 10k gold filled pin (0.0023)

Misc other coins with no precious metals that I currently know of. Buffalo Nickles, pesos, transport tokens etc. Might be some value in those once I go through them all.

Went to dump some coin today, machine kept jamming. During one of the jams and spit outs I spied a 64 rosie. Not exactly sure if I missed it or not, it had to be mine since it came in at around the 4th stop and spit out. I did go through the $800+ worth of dimes pretty fast so I could have missed it and possible more. The lighting I have for dimes in freaking horrible. Even with sun light coming through the window, I will need to figure out some better light for dime searching, otherwise I will have no choice but to go slow and steady while using a loupe.

Got let off of work early today, power went out, was out for about 15 minutes, came back on and went out again for over 30 minutes. It gave me some time to pick up this weeks mid-week boxes. While I was there I sniped a rosie from a teller tray. Todays two boxes were not Brinks boxes like I had expected but Loomis boxes. I am hoping they are the last of the replacement boxes they had as the brinks were doing good. Both Loomis boxes payed out as usual, with nothing.

5 more boxes due this week.

Well, the final run of May was not that great.

Picked up my first two of five final boxes for May, both were Loomis boxes. The first box accually produced a single 64, the other one produced nothing.

Went to go dump at a regular dump bank and they inform me that the coin machine is still down so now I am sitting on $1000 in halves and not enough cash to pick up the other 3 boxes. Finally got the boxes dumped someplace else and managed to get back in time to get my 3 more skunky Loomis boxes. I really hope they get their new pallet in or something because if its not Brinks, it stinks.

I meet up with a girl I met on Facebook and check out a 14k and 1/2 carat diamond bracelet. Turns out its 10k not 14k. I end up paying $50 for it. It weighs out for $94 and change.

Picked up some garage sale stuff. 10k pendant for $3, Little chile pendant for 50 cents that turned out to be 18k.

Auctions netted me some silver and gold filled.

One of the rings I purchased that looked like old and tarnished gold turned out not to be. Oh well, win some, lose some.

I was kind of wondering where all my money went this month, now I know lol. Glad I got my review and raise this last week, hopefully its the $2 an hour I asked for.

Yeah, my profit has been quite good the last couple of month when it comes to what I buy and what its worth. Of course you have to knock about 6% averaged off of it if I were to go to the refiner and scrap anything. Really though, a 4+ time profit off of what I have purchased this month is damned good, too bad Silver was not $35 and Gold back at $1750, I would have been looking at a value of $1207.98. It will get back up there, I am not doing this for instant cash, I am socking it away for my future retirement. Though I might start to sell some of it just to increase the bank roll so I can go to more auctions and buy more, I would make more money that way. Its just hard for me to do, I have not hit either of my goals yet so scraping anything is tough and I have not yet been able to do it.

I challenge TimZim to post pictures of his stack, monster boxes and 100oz bars like he said he had in the past, i know silver is silver, but i think we all want to see what his stack looks like, everybody can sit behind a computer and post what they found thru crh and what they bought, but unless there proof i personally don't believe it. people like being be something there not…no excuses like before….
