Each week I go through $50 in cents along with a few rolls of nickels, dimes, quarters, and a box of halves (when they remember to order them - currently they are running at 50%). I keep a log and have done so since 1/2/1992. I'll try to post my finds on here as they come.
Here are my finds from 1/5/2007:
1 Eisenhower Dollar 1972-D (the teller begged me to buy it from her)
3 40% Kennedy Halves 1967, 1968-D(2)
1 Indian Head Cent 1891 (xf condition)
11 Wheat Cents 1919, 1920, 1927, 1929, 1944, 1945, 1948, 1953-D, 1955-D, 1956, 1956-D
1 Memorial Cent 1961 (proof)
2 Canadian George VI Cents 1943, 1950
2 Canadian Elizabeth II Cents 2006 (with RCM logo)
1 Bahamas Cent 2004
Here are my finds from 1/11/2007:
2 Silver Roosevelt Dimes 1946-S, 1964
14 Wheat Cents 1936, 1941, 1944 (2), 1945, 1946, 1950, 1950-D, 1956 (3), 1956-D, 1958 (2)
The teller promised me that she would remember to order my halves this week. She said she remembered last week, after she had put her coin order in, and called and they wouldn't let her add to her order. The order has be in by 11am on Monday and they are delivered around 10:30am on Wednesday. They don't have a way to have a "standing" order, so she wouldn't have to remember. Oh well.
I also got two 2007 cents in change yesterday. That's the earliest that I've ever received the new years' coins. There must really be a shortage of cents for that to happen.
