POLL: "Subforums, yes or no?"

Hey mods, since majority ruled for changing the CRH'ing forum to include sub-forums such as CRH logs, cents, nickels, dimes, quarters, halves, and dollars, and there seems to be little activity going on with those sub-forums and most activity is below on the normal forum, can we vote whether to keep the sub-forums or not?

I do like the CRH log idea, but honestly think the others should go(I vote to keep only the CRH Log sub-forum)... I appreciate all you guys and gals do for treasurenet, but some things just don't always work out.
Thank you,
BuffaloBoy.

note: please don't make this a heated debate, I am just trying to get my point across

.

voting to support thesub-forums will keep them all,
voting against the sub-forums will delete them all, and keep the CRH log sub-forum :)

the sub forums are a bit much, IMHO.

If we need sub forums, perhaps a "Silver" "Copper" "Errors/varities"

My 3 cents

Like the idea- and even the errors/varieties could be included if found CRHing-

"Errors/varities" should really belong in the "coins" forum, not the "CRH" forum.

Good heavens - We CRH for errors. therefore, it belongs in the CRHing sections. Simple.

Or make subforums for the subforums, ie just have logs and one big subforum that says coins, inside of that have all the denominations listed.

I may be in the minority, but I really like the subforums. I wish I had the ability to move a thread of my own into a subforum, but that's my only annoyance.

I vote for a CRH log sub forum and the rest of the sub forums done away with. I like a one-stop-shop place where I can look at all the threads at once rather than having to sort through each sub forum.

I'd like to see it get a fair shake, it's only been a week ,give a month and then see what people think. If you move the stickies to the top then the log, coin and genaral fourm it might flow a little better. my 2 cents LP

My vote is for logs sub forum and one for questions...such as what's this or how do you this or what do you do with such.

Okay... I guess that is approptiate; however, "give it some time" is a relative term, this website isn't going anywhere anytime soon, so "some time" can be 6 months or 6 years... Please, define "some time"? one week? one month? a year? will we ever get to cast our vote, "yes or no" to whether we like the sub forums or not?
Since I don't use the CRH Forums, I just view (read) them.
I don't have much of an opinion one way or the Other.

But since the Vocal Majority here wanted this,

I have to agree with mr.landpirate & say give it some time

well since I wasn't Instrumental in getting the subs put in.
and I didn't actually feel it was Necessary.
I believe I am also the wrong one to talk to about a poll.

also I haven't tried doing a Poll since the new servers here,
But I think there is a way for members to start one.

as far as Time , not sure my answer is on topic.

I like the sub-forums. I also think that the Mods need to move new posts into the appropriate forums until stubborn people get used to the idea. The only reason people aren't posting in the sub-forums is because they are trying to "fight the man".

I didn't like them initially, but as long as any post in the various subforums still show up on the main page, then I have no problem...

Buff,
You can add a poll if you click "Thread Tools" at the top of your original post.
