Awesome find, time to find another! I get 1 silver dime every $400 or so worth of dimes!

Nice find. You're hooked now. I get one for about every 100.00 I search in my area. That's why I love searching them. They are very consistent.

I really can't answer that for you. I really hope you do. I just know that my area seems to be pretty steady as far as dimes go. I've probably went through 50 machine wrapped boxes and I've only been skunked on 5 of them. On the other hand, my area seems to be a bit above average. Plus, if you buy 60 bucks worth and don't find one, don't get frustrated. It's all about quantity. If you love seeing that silver rim as much as I do then dimes are definitely the way to go. HH.

I find a silver dime every $400 or so worth, it all depends on your area.

Pirate, I think you did we'll finding that at work since you probably don't go thru that many at work. My father taught me about silver as a little kid and ever since, I always check my change but have never found anything that way. As others have mentioned, you never know if X amount of coin will produce or not, but increased volume generally brings increased finds. Lately dimes have been kind of slow for me although a couple months ago I had my best box ever with 10 silvers. Keep at it. HH

Yeah, that's about where I'm at. You gotta go through a LOT of rolls before you even find one. If you treat it as a fun hobby, you won't get frustrated and it will be really fun when you do finally find that silver dime!

I am in a crappy dime area. 1 per $800. Gave on them but recently decided to try again....no better results. 3 boxes zero.
