I picked up two boxes of halves from the bank on the corner under my work building. I skateboard about 1/4 mile downhill to my car.

I had the two boxes, and my ipad in my arms. Sun Shining, me smiling.

OH UH! construction debris. I Fall HARD. knee, and leg scrapped to the quick. Blood dripping....coins EVERYWHERE. Rolls, Looseis, both boxes split. My board gets shot behind me, into traffic, and several rolls are in the perpendicular street.

A couple good Samaritans help me out. about 5 people are picking my loose halves, and rolls, and putting them near my boxes.

I put at least $500 into my jacket pockets, and the other $500 into the better of the two boxes.

I did manage 6 40%ers from those boxes. And I did give the best helper a silver 40%er I had in my pocket as a thank you. I made him understand that it was silver. He was mildly excited.

It was as silly and funny as it sounds. I am dolt. The wounds are healing, and the story is a good one.

No more than 5 face I guess. Plus the silver I gave to the guy.

The sidewalk was really clean.

Coinfetcher, great story. Very funny. I'm just trying to wrap my mind around what you were thinking. Maybe I could use my R6 to transport boxes balanced on the tank? What could go wrong? Ashamed it didn't get captured on video. Lol HH

I can relate to you on this one man, I used to skate everywhere and sometimes it ended very badly. Construction debris was the culprit at least a few of the times. I've gotta say that takes some huevos to skate downhill w/ 2 boxes of halves. I would imagine that extra weight would make you go really fast and also make turning and avoiding cracks and such difficult. Must've been a great ride up until the point of disaster!

I also must say this is a very creative way of searching boxes really fast! albeit a painful one

You skateboard with 2 boxes and your ipad in your arms? Risky business.

I sometimes go by bicycle, but I skate everyday the half or quarter mile to my car. I get home quicker, and into the office quicker this way. I ipad is already cracked, but has a case.

The mechanics of skating with all that weight were hindered. It was a casual grade, I was able to speed check with my foot before my spill.

Won't be the last time. I'll try to remember a backpack next time. Thanks for the support!

50 lbs of halfs and an iPad? I still skate and I would never think of doing it...lol. Sound like 1 chaotic scene.

I always go CRHing on a bike but I only do CWRs.
