My son and I went out and tried again today, went to 3 banks.

Got 3 rolls of halfs, 5 rolls of nickels, and 22 rolls of pennies.

Scored my first silver, a '69 Kennedy! Got 8 Wheaties, the oldest is a '27.

No war nickels, but did find a few older ones, a '57, '58, 2- '61, 5- '64 and a '67. My son and I had a good time though, had something to do on a relatively boring day.

Nice silver. I am silverless in the last $1500-2000 worth of halves. Nickels and pennys are good when bored, I keep wheat pennys and pre 60 nickels.
