Hey folks, I went crazy searching dimes this week and came across these two beauties, on the end of the dime rolls too! I guess I am due for a shave, huh?
note: I sm saving these rolls to show my 89 year old grandfather later, he loves searching coin rolls with me, we will also be doing 2 boxes of half dollars later. So results from these rolls will be posted. As of right now, they are unopened. I hope the ender is a seated liberty because the reverse was the same for the barber dime and seated liberty, and my oldest dime find was a 1918 merc before this roll.
BTW, the box with the "one dime" ender only gave up one other silver, a 1963.

Enjoy!

The barber ender box only gave up the 1913p barber and a 1963.
The mercury dime ender box gave up the mercury dime (1944p) and 2 roosies.

Congrats on the shave, BB. What was your grandfather's reaction when you showed him the rolls? Was he surprised to see a coin that circulated when he was boy in a roll?

Very cool there Buff! It is way cooler to find a dime ender, they are way rarer than half Enders. HH, Maverick.

Yeah they definitely are. I've done 500+ dime boxes and have only found 2 merc enders(both obverse enders) and this barber ender; however, this is my only barber coin i've ever found crh'ing. Too bad this bank I got the dime box from is 135 miles away round trip and it's not worth me going back for more. I love road trips even if I lose money in the end, it makes the hobby much more exciting and allows me to do a greater volume since I can dump hard on the banks I don't visit regularly. :)

Yes, sometimes you have to drive a ways, every Tuesday I make a 95 mile round trip to pickup 2 boxes and 2 bags from 1 branch and stop at 2 dump banks in the same town to dump off 8 boxes, but the reward is usually good and I am excited every Tuesday to make the trip and see what I get. HH, Maverick.

Yeah, road trips are really fun IMO, too bad my truck gets 14 mpg, that takes a little bit of the fun out knowing I burned $35 in gas but I did get enoug silver to break even and make a few bucks even though i don't sell my finds.

I know your pain on gas, I use to use the wife's mini van every once in a while, but I mostly use my truck, 03 Ram Quad Cab with a Hemi, LOVES THE GAS, about 12-14 miles to the gallon, but I hate driving anything smaller, so I pay the gas lol. HH, Maverick.

Great finds BB. I've hunted a lot of dimes and only had two enders, both Rosie's. Still haven't found a barber dime yet. Maybe I'll get lucky this week. HH.
