Todays 15 boxes, only 2 boxes produced silver! But I did find 3 new(to me) comm's

Up and down roller coaster today folks! lol...

Started my first 4, and the 3rd box gave up 7 64's and a 68.:occasion14: Pretty awesome! I think thats my best 90% box yet. Also managed to find in that box, 2 1991 mount rushmore comm's, the proof being the only ender in the box. Also found the 1995 olympic comm and 1992 columbus comm.:laughing7:

Fast forward past 11 skunk boxes :BangHead: and at my 14th box, a brinks cube box(yes I finally found some, this set of 4 boxes made up my 12th box orders from brinks) This cube box gave up 10 40%ers, a 64 kennedy and a 45 walker, also a gold coin, and the army proof comm!:hello2:

Even though only 2 boxes gave up silver, it was my 3rd best day of silver. (for boxes) at 5.0289 toz:headbang:

HH all!

Some info on these comms, Wow I got some pretty low mintage coins!! friggin sweet!! This army proof only had a mintage of 68k or so... I had found a 1991 Mt Rushmore proof a few months back(it also was a reverse ender... wierd eh?)

Heres the info: from Modern Commemoratives | United States Mint Commemorative Coins

2011-S Proof Army Half Dollar

Pre-Issue Price: $17.95
Regular Price: $21.95
Final Mintage: 68,349

1992-D Uncirculated Columbus Half Dollar

Pre-Issue Price: $6.50
Regular Price: $7.50
Final Mintage: 135,702

1991-D Uncirculated Mount Rushmore Half Dollar

Pre-Issue Price: $6.00
Regular Price: $7.00
Final Mintage: 172,754

1991-S Proof Mount Rushmore Half Dollar

Pre-Issue Price: $8.50
Regular Price: $9.50
Final Mintage: 753,257

1995-S Uncirculated Basketball Half Dollar

Pre-Issue Price: $10.50
Regular Price: $11.50
Final Mintage: 171,001
(Both versions were minted at the San Francisco Mint. The coins ultimately sold 171,001 uncirculated coins and 169,655 proof coins) I cant find any mint mark on mine, but it says both proof/unc were minted at SF

As a rule of thumb, modern commemorative half dollars are clad except for the '82 Washington and the '93 Bill of Rights.

They are all clad... The Booker T washington I found last week or the week before, was 90% silver.

I rim search my halves, and found these by their nice thick and shiny rims... Very easy to spot. Hope I didnt miss any, but im still happy with what I did manage to find, even though it wasnt silver!! Much better finds than normal clad proofs, I have so many of them lol...

ETA: The bottom 2 are proof versions, the top 3 are "uncirculated" versions.

Nice score info! I got skunked on my three boxes this week but my nice tellers handed over 4 40% at least. Liked your box 3 with all the 90%.

Nice! I've been looking for a good price on the 2011 comm with the Redstone missles on it!

I'm jealous.
