Nice finds..........and for only $100 face.

I wouldn't (personally) hang on to the '78s or the roll of '01s. Yeah, the 78s were low mintages, relative to some other years, but really not low enough (IMHO) to warrant being worth a premium.

The roll of '01s. they too probably aren't worth much above face, maybe $11 or so for the roll. But hey, test they waters on e-Bay and see what you find.

Otherwise, they'll just make for ones you can turn in to try to get some real keepers.

Again, great finds for a minimal investment.

What is 'Mint Rolled'? Does it say U.S.Mint on it. I know that the Mint has often sold (for a premium) what are known as P & D rolls. The ones that I have are from 2004. Is your's like these or different.

Good point, goldinmypan, I just assumed whatwas being referred to were "regular" rolled halves.

they are the ones like you have shown the ones the mint sells at a premuim.
