One box, One bag, a week of 40's!

Hey guys, well, this week was pretty good, at least 1 bag and 1 box I got. It all hit the beginning of the week, this came from my first bank pickup, the rest of the week were all skunks ( 1 bag and 11 boxes were skunks), so, I didn't even see the Silver in the bag at the bank, but thought I heard some when they were bringing it out and set it down, got to the truck and took a better look and saw 3 40's staring back at me ( wooo hooo I thought) so anyway, got home and searched the bag and pulled 58 40's and 2 90's out of it! I went ahead and did one of the boxes after that, it gave up 17 40's for a grand total of 77 40's and 2 90's for the week, not bad for only 2 producers outta the bunch. So the highlights would be the 3 Silver 1976-1776 that were in the bag, 1 is a proof ( my first proof Becentenial) the other 2 were just the Silver ones, there was also a marked 40 in the bag too. Nicely done Mav. Great finds and great pics. You always take really good photos. My eight boxes of halves on Tuesday were my only boxes of the week. One ender in three different boxes, only FIVE total keepers. It was tough sledding, but there's always next week.

Ya, I hate those boxes with an ender showing and then it's the only one in it, I mean, what are the dang odds right? I get them every so often too, they suck, lol. HH, Maverick.

I been trying to get bags ordered this week, but I dont think anything will come out of it... they all pretty much said they can only order boxes on the computer... Guess I need to get them to ask the delivery guys for future orders to be in bags.

Im trying to get my volume back up, I lost one of my banks, and they wont open my account back up because I want to order halves... And had 2 of my pickup banks saying the delivery service changed how they charge, and they wanted to pass that charge to me, so Im down on orders again!! ughh

Hey Info, if I'm not mistaken, the teller told me she had to make a call ( I'm assuming to Brinks, but not positive, I'll find out for you) and that is how she makes it happen, I'll pm you on it.

Yes, the bag was Awesome to search, like every other handful had a Silver in it. HH, Maverick.

I thought the marked one was pretty cool too, a couple of weeks back I had a box that 98% of the coins in it had a purple mark on the ear and there was a 68 the guy marked just the same and threw back, that was a good one, I never had time to post it. HH, Maverick.

Nice job on the bag. Around here I can only get boxes ordered. I've asked about bags but I get this wtf are you talking about look. What's strange about that is I know for sure the banks here open all wrapped halves and bag them up for return to the pickup company.

Yet no one wants to sell me bags. Seems odd.

That's some good finds Mav! I just found my first '76 AG proof not long ago, it's awesome you've found 9. I have only found one bank that would do bags but considering they are a branch of my main dump bank it probably wouldn't be too smart.
