Strings boxes

As folks on here have said before, the boxes and wrapping should make no difference. Two of the big banks I order from use the same string boxes/rolls (I know they use different couriers but suspect the boxes are coming from the same place (sometimes they have the same code)). All that said, most of my string boxes are skunks, but my best box was a string box (not a "dream" box, though).

Any box out there could be a skunk or a dream box. It all depends on what people deposited and whether or not it made it past the tellers and back to the "box factory." If there are a lot of hunters in your area searching halves, you will get more skunks and less silver. If you are the only hunter in your area, and live amongst people who prefer to trade a half dollar made of silver for 50c rather than $3.43 or $8.39, well than bless you, man! You are in a favorable situation, and stand to make a tidy profit from your CRHing ventures.

Anyone still finding silver in Strings boxes. Im on a serious skunk streak with them. Getting to the point I avoid banks I know will give me strings boxes.

It all depends on location as well. I avoid banks that are supplied by brinks because where I am from they are horrible and NF is consistent

A chain of banks in my area all supply strings and all have coin counters. I regularly find silver and wheat rejects in them. Wondering if the silver is in low supply in circulation because of the machines sorting and rejecting silver?

strings is just a wrapper....you have to keep digging.

Read some of my recent posts, I'm getting tons of solid 2001 boxes, with some amazing boxes mixed. Imagine if I stopped taking boxes from those banks :-)\

I was psyched. It was my first walker ender. I did two boxes this morning and got 4 walkers out of them along with a bunch of other goodies.

That's rough. I seem to be getting boxes from two distinct batches. One batch is giving very few finds the others are pretty loaded. I did four boxes today two from each batch. Bad batch gave one 40%. Good batch gave 4 walkers, 2 franklins, 4 '64's and 6 40%.
