Casino bag of halves

So I just picked up a bag of halves at the casino. $980 worth. And I see one franklin looking back at me. Here's to a good bag. Will post results later tonight.

I have been asking the same lady working behind the counter the last 5 times I've been here if they had a bag of halves off the machine they can sell me, and they never have one because "it was just sent out". Well today they had one and she said the only stipulation is you have to take them all, I said NO PROBLEM!!

Well with seeing a Franklin on the edge of the bag, I figured there would be more.

1 1963 Franklin
1 1964 Ken
1 1965 Ken
1 1966 Ken
1 1967 Ken
1 1968 Ken
2 1969 Kens

Plus the bag also gave me $3.78.

Seems a bit odd that those years are all consecutive.

It almost seems like someone spent someone else's collection. Wouldn't surprise me knowing how ignorant some/most of today's youth are about coins of the past. Would be a sad scenario.

I love that. it's like when they say "yea we have $175 in halves do you really want them all" ummm………yes!!!!

I found a casino that still takes coins, including half dollars. I could buy s&s rolls of halves from the window, then act like I was plugging a machine (hate slots) and simply return a bunch of them and ask for a few more rolls. I found 3 40%ers fairly quickly before my wife figured out what I was doing. She gave me that look so I quit.
