EE's log for November, aint got a punny title.

As most of my money is tied up in a house purchase, I have no cash for the month for auctions until closing on the 26th. It wont be a profitable month for me. I have already lost several thousand in potential profit from auctions I have not been able to attend but Vlad the Ukrainian can and has done quite well for himself.

Picked up a beer flat of costume jewelery for $2 at the Friday auction, had some sterling earring and some gold filled. At little over $30 worth of value in the box, not counting all the jewelry I can resell.

Bought a belt buckle with a Morgan Dollar in it, 1900-o for $6.00.

Round of layoffs at work today, 12% of the workforce gone, I was not one of them. I was expecting this to happen. Not sure why people seem to think things are getting better out there, is it because the media keeps saying its so? Well it isnt, believe me when I say it. Prepare accordingly but 12 months savings is a must. $300 in your savings account isnt going to cut it in this day and age.

The averages between this month of this year and last are pretty dead on for now, would love to see better as this year pales in comparison to last year.

All the gold I sold really messed up my totals. I didnt pull some things out of my list and I need to check everything over but I will be doing that after the move when I have more space to work.
