"Dollar Store" ?

On my may home from work tonight, stopped by a bank that tends to have some every time I stop by (every three weeks or so), and picked up another ten Ikes.

With the new "quarter-styled, revolving door of mint-propaganda dollar coins" coming out, these Ikes might just now get the respect they deserve; especially after almost thirty years since they've last been minted.

If you plan to sell them right now, you will fetch about $18 to $18.50 for them (dealer buy price, not sell price---can anyone verify this?). But I suggest holding on to them. Although most Ikes are clad, I have a feeling they'll outperform other clad coins. When the bank tellers think they're rare, keep 'em!
