I was looking over my own spreadsheet for the year, and I was wondering if anyone here has searched (or will make it to) one million dollars in 2013? I myself will be a bit short with my current total at just about $635,000 and on pace to end the year at about $660,000

Last year I searched $657,000 so amazingly enough my numbers are almost exactly the same this year.

So is anyone going to be in (or already in) the million dollar club?

Happy holidays, Nick

When I first read that, it sounded like an insane figure. But, its only ~38.5 boxes of halves per week. Thats very doable.

I've long since quit keeping stats, but I'm relatively sure I haven't done $1 mil lifetime.

If I didnt hit dimes so hard this year (1,083 boxes and counting) I could have made a run at it.

Off the top of my head some of the big hunters that I think may or have reached the million dollar plateau are BigHeed, TimZim, CRHSW, etc.....

I can also understand some guys not wanting to come on here and publicize their searched amounts.

It's very do-able. If you have a bankroll of 4k rolled over 5 days a week for 52 weeks that would put you over a million for the year. Of course you must factor in bank holidays, missed orders, unexpected pickup/dump cutoffs....

That said I do 3-5 halves boxes a week and 2-6 boxes of dimes a week so I am no high volume expert. You would definitely need some very understanding dump banks...

I am a long way off. 7 boxes per week x 52 = $182,000.00
Way short as compared to most of the hard hitters here.
Not counting cents, nickels, and dimes--of course.

I have been dividing my limited time to CRH & storage lockers--as my CRH finds have drastically dropped over the last year. The storage lockers have helped up the ante a bit.

I did a little over $200k last year, but will be lucky to get $80k this year. $1M is doable, but you wouldn't have much of a life if you worked a full time job on top of it. I'd love to see the silver porn from $1M in halves!!

The same here. Since 2006, i've easily done 1 mil in coin. Couldn't give you exact numbers as I don't keep stats.

I am not even close to 1 million. I have searched $3,445.50 worth of coins. I don't hunt halves on a regular basis yet. I only need $200 to be able to afford a box. Right now I just pick up cwr halves when my bank has them.

Funny you should ask that now, Cards. Because by the end of THIS week, I will surpass $1M in searched halves. :award_star_gold_2:

in 2012 i did but with the twins i haven't been hunting very hard in 2013. I've also been taking a break for a bit to let the system "repopulate" a bit. I was on major suck streak, not totally skunked out but not worth my time. Been doing alot of boxing and muay thai in my free time again at the gym. Have to "un-fat" myself from the first year of fatherhood :-)

It takes as little as 3 weeks for the same coins to recirculate. Reference: personal experience.

No millions in coins , but found a sperrylite/platinum nugget in an area where nobodys found it before , could be worth millions

This is a good question C&C, I've never really added up my total searched, I have it all written down in my book ( yes I'm old school with my composition book lol) so I'll have to add them up tonight when I add this weeks totals to it. HH, Maverick.
