After 8 months of CRHing with no previous coin knowledge to speak of, I finally picked up a decade-old Red Book for $1 at a book sale this weekend, for reference purposes.

I'm blown away by all the commemorative half dollars that have been issued. Like, SO many different weird ones. Most of them silver.

The only commemorative I've found is the 1986 Statue of Liberty clad proof. I'm pretty sure I've seen people report finding the Stone Mountain and Columbian Exposition ones since I've been on the forums. Lots of the other ones have much lower mintages; usually around 50,000 or so.

What else have you folks found? Do you have pictures?

Never found a commem through CRH. Though I do mostly CWRs so maybe the high-volume guys who do boxes/bags might have a different story...

I've found two silver commemoratives so far: Booker T. and Columbian Exposition.

EDIT: I've found three. Booker T., Columbian Exposition, and the Bicentennial.

For some reason, I always forget that the Bicentennial coins were commemoratives.

2 clad Statue of Liberty. I really want a 1934-1938 Texas Centennial commemorative half dollar.

The commemorative halves I have I bought.

I've got a 1925 Stone Mountain half, a 1946 Booker T. half, and a 1952 Booker T./George Washington Carver half, and a 1986-S Ellis Island half (for FV from a friend on here).

I've found 2 statue of libertys (both within the last week), one mount rushmore, and one george washington (silva). I like finding them. I'm sure I've missed a couple clad commemoratives because I only sound and edge check.

I've found a centennial of congress uncirculated one
4-5 statue of liberty 1986 ones (both proof and uncirculated) and my favorite:
2008-S uncirculated bald eagle commemorative with a mintage of only 120,000

NOTE: this is a picture of the actual coin I found.

Up until last week I wouldn't be able to claim any commemoratives but got lucky and found two in one week. 1991 Mount Rushmore and 86' liberty. I think I came across a mini collection dump.

what timing!

Just got a 1951 Booker T Washington over the weekend while CRH, along with his 9 40% bodyguards.
My first commemorative coin in almost 2 years of CRH.
Mintage of 200,000 (unless I'm missing the mintmark somewhere...)
