Well, the end of 2013 is here. So after hunting from July, for 24 months, I've looked through:

Rolls Coins $ Value
Cents 1330 66,500 $665.00
Nickles 1470 58,800 $2,940.00
Dimes 2785 139,250 $13,925.00
Quarters 251 10040 $2,510.00
Halfs 26896 537,920 $268,960.00

For a total of $289,000.00 Searched

I've Found:

IH 1
Wheat 272
V-Nickel 1
Buffalo 13
War N 20
Silver Merc Dime 2
Silver FDR Dime 36
Silver Q 0
Silver H 40 735
Silver H 90 115

I also found 94 foreign coins from over 20 countries.

That is 154.18oz of silver :D

All my stats include CWR-MWR-Trays

I plan to do better in my record keeping next year :D

Curious how all you guys did this year compared to last year.

From my 90%'s, 22 were Bens and 7 were Walkers.

I only game across 1 Bender :P

Thinking about next year, I think I'm gonna shoot for:

CRH
250oz of Ag
500lbs of Cu
40 Bens
A barber
A seated 0.0
1Million Searched

Garage Sales
1lb of sterling jewelry
1oz equivalent to 24kt gold

Should be a fun year! Best wishes to all of you!

Also my 18th birthday today :)

great results! What amount of volume are you planning to do in 2014?

More and more in time, need the bigger bank roll haha. Just paid off the car sh** from a few months ago. Soooooo Happy haha. Hopefully I'll hit all my goals.

hey omega, i copied the beginning of your post and added my results... they are below! also, if you hit your goal of searching $1M in coinage, you should be able to crush your silver goal for the year. you haven't really gotten any skunk streaks at all. even when you have had bad weeks, you are still averaging 1 a box. if you search $1M of coins, you should be able to hit 350-400 ounces no problem!

My 2013 Results...

$ Value Searched
Cents - approx $1,000
Nickles - approx $4,000
Dimes - approx $1,500
Quarters - approx $100
Halfs - approx $86,000

For a total of approx $93,000 searched

I've Found:

IH - 1 (1881)
Wheat - approx 550
Copper - approx $250 face
Blank Planchet Cent - 2
V-Nickel - 2 (1902 & 1912)
Buffalo - 18
War N - 31
Silver FDR Dime - 1
Silver Nicaraguan 10 Centavo - 1 (1927)
Silver Q - 1
Silver H 40 - 233
Silver H 90 - 52 (12 Bens, 15 Walkers, 25 Kennedys)
Trick Half - 1

Overall, approx 55 ounces of silver for $145 face. not bad.

Goals for next year are 175 ounces of ag, $500 face of copper, 1,000 Wheats. I was cut off at one pickup bank, but I was able to build on the great relationships I have at my other 2 banks, so I should easily be able to get 20 boxes a week, when I am in town. Let's just hope that they continue to order for me! :)

Have a great New Year's, and happy hunting in 2014 to all of us!

oh, as for this year compared to last... i started late this summer and was only doing 2-4 boxes a week for quite a while. i upped the volume to 16+ boxes a week later in the year. i can only speak to the ups and downs of this year. i was averaging over 1.5 a box for my first 75 boxes (not counting a box with 57 in it)... then i found only 2 coins in a streak of about 50 boxes. after breaking out of skunksville, i averaged around 1 a box for my last 50 boxes. i dump at brinks and pick up at other carriers, so i wasnt getting my same coins back, but i was certainly getting someone's dumps! hopefully the skunk streaks are much less in 2014!!!

I did hit large skunk streaks, 20+, and even 50+ once. But it all works out in the end.
