they were only made for the uncirulated sets, not for cirulation. if you also look at the mintage there the lowest,next to the 1970-d

Hi Whitesid,you told her to save the 2002+ halves,but I wonder,have you ever been able to sell one to a dealer for more than face value?

Or do you know of any dealers that will buy the 87-D or P from you for more than face that has been circulated or otherwise damaged/nicked from going through a rolling machine?

I used to save these(02+/87-D/P) but could never get above face value for them so I just turned them all in with the rejects because I had too much $ tied up in the them and couldn't afford to buy more boxes to search when I kept these coins.Thanks.
