Nice batch, just like boris stated, 1/per box is a nice average to achieve. I always want 1/per box, and anything else is a "bonus" for me.

Ah, I marked exactly three gold-plated halves in the second week of April. Haha.

Sorry to hear about the skunks. My finds have definitely slowed down over the last few weeks.

I picked up three boxes of halves today, one of which was a skunk. I did, however, manage to find a 90%er and two 40%ers between the other two boxes:

1954S Ben
1967
1968D

Picked up two boxes of halves and three boxes of dimes this weekend. Two of the boxes of dimes were skunks, the third gave up three keepers:

1955 Elizabeth II Canadian
1948 Roosie
1962D Roosie

One box of halves was a skunk, but the other gave up fifteen keepers. A 90%er and fourteen 40%ers:

1964
1965
1966 x 9
1967 x 2
1968D x 2

8-)

Not a bad weekend at all.

Those were a couple of great boxes. My last half box on Friday was my best box in two months - it had 10 keepers: a 90% Kender and nine 40%.

Hopefully our good luck continues the rest of the month.

Congrats on the quarter. Someone else found a silver quarter this week - same year I think. Its been years since Ive found a silver quarter. Good luck with your box. I should have 2 or 3 more boxes this week so Im hoping for a little more silver before the week is through.

I went to AC this weekend for a bachelor party. Had $3.41 in change leftover from meals, beers, tolls, etc.

Dumped the change leftover from the weekend into the coin machine. Checked the reject tray and found a bunch of cents in there. Felt up into the tube and it was absolutely full of coins.

Ran all of that change through the machine as well. Went in with $3.41, ticket printed and read $43.88! 8-)

Also found two keepers in the mass of coins from the reject tube/tray, both '64D Roosies! 8-)

Also picked up two boxes of halves to search later on.

All but one of my dump banks have gotten new upgraded coin machines. The new machines no longer have the shallow-pitch tube leading to the reject tray, it's now pretty much a vertical straight shot to the reject tray. I haven't found anything in these new coin machines since being installed.

Luckily, the one dump bank with the old machines is the most heavily-used branch in my area and was the one I found the most goodies at in previous years. Hopefully they hold out on getting these new coin machines.
