Me and a few co workers all partake in the hunting. I do mostly nicks and cents one guy does half dollars like mad and another does nicks when he has time.

Today I traded the one who does nicks 12 low mint (under 25 million) Jefferson's in avg circulated condition for a 1914 barber dime.

Was wondering if you guys ever do trades like this?

I was contemplating trading in my 40%ers for generic silvers if that counts... Haven't committed to it yet though .

I traded in about 500 40%ers, and held the cash for a while, and then bought maples, and eagles and philharmonics with the FRNs. I think I did great!

buying a barber dime for $0.60 isn't bad as long as you didn't include war nickels or the following dates: 1938d 1938s 1939d 1939s 1942d 1950d

To trade with someone else is fine, so long as both parties are satisfied with the outcome. That's how our country forefathers started out with the Indians.
