ResizedImage_1390347709196.jpg also found my 1st large cent in a "coinstar reject tray dump" a few months ago. As I left the store I walked out the door to find a pile of change including 4 steelies a few foreign coins and this holed 1848 large cent.

I look all the time(atleast 4-5 times a week for the past year), and have only found 4 pennies, and 4 clad dimes... lol

it was actually inside the machine itself...there is a jug inside where they keep all the coins that get jammed up. I visit this store frequently and just asked the grocery store employee if I could take a look inside the jug as I am a coin collector (he had it open to unclog a jam) he said no problem!!

Yeah, these get trapped inside the machine, so you can't get them from a reject slot. Nice finds!

Wow! Big congrats - I'm checking out jugs every day :cross:, never found any coins though, - never even found a single coin from a Coinstar in six years.
