Picked up a $500.00 box of halves at the local bank today. 2 '64's a '43 liberty and ten 40%. Not bad, but the kicker is the box had $541.00 in it. 82 extra halves!!!!!!!!!!!! Is this common? If so, I'm gonna try this again lol......

Did someone hand roll and put in a box?

That is a lot of extra halves to fit into a standard box.

Good for you, the extra halves are worth more than the silver.

I have never gotten a single extra half in a brinks type box.

all machine rolled, but the end of the box was taped and bulging. think they stuffed 4 more rolls in the end.

I've been short one coin in one box, and a few months latter an extra in one box.
I also got a box with a bent quarter in it. So I'm up by $.25 cents on my boxes. ;D

Whenever I'm off in my count most of the time I find the disparity when I get home. I remember one time I was ahead 15 dollars but when I got home and recalculated I was 50 cents short. Never fails..... I miss something somewhere. Although one bank I was ahead 50 cents consistently and one time $4.50 ahead that I coudn't find any errors on my part. Thats ok....I dont mind getting paid to CRH.
