That's one of the better nickel boxes I've seen in a long time. Congratulations!

Well that's still great results from even 2 boxes. 4.5 silver per box is a great average for nickels. Did u get any '38's or '39's with mint marks?

My record for war nickels in a box is 4. 9 in two boxes is outstanding.

It seems a little strange that those semi-key date '38DS & '39DS nickels are so hard to find. I've probably only ever found 2 or 3 of those CRHing in the past few years but I've found 4 or 5 '50D's. And I found 3 more '39(P)'s just tonight but no mint mark of course. I think I'll probably find my first V nickel or a couple more '50D's before I ever find another '38DS or '39DS. Oh well, I just found my first dated buffalo of the year so I'm happy. :)
