nickel box gave up this 83-P with shattered die reverse. 7 raised metal cracks on reverse and 2 on obverse. then came the 85-P off center collar die with shift to left and extra wide blank area at liberty and date. IMG_0748.JPG IMG_0749.JPG IMG_0750.JPG IMG_0751.JPG

That first one is a very heavy die clash. You can see Jefferson's bow above the right side of the Monticello and his chin above the left side. Then you can see the head under the Monticello. The obverse has traces of the Monticello behind Jefforson's head.
