Nickel Box #3 - Lady Liberty, a drooling bison, and four beavers.

Went through my third box today,

First things first, I scored my first ever Liberty Nickel! It's in pretty rough shape, but it's better than nothing! Can't tell the date.


Now for the numbers;
26 1938-1959 Nickels
A big fat 0 in the silver column...

Also found a drooling bison, pretty cool die crack?


Oh and four Canadian.

Congrats on the V nickel. It still has most of LIBERTY but too bad its in such rough shape. Im not sure about the '05 nickel, looks kinda interesting though.

Your V-nickel looks to be a 1912. No mintmark.

I can for sure see a "2", so im thinking 1912 also.

I'd have to agree with you guys it is a 1912, it's hard to tell in person but looking at the pictures you can see a "12". And sweet that the bison has some value! I think it's pretty neat!
