Both are great finds but that second one is really cool. Can u detect any kind of image or details on it to determine what kind of cent it is? Can u even tell if its a Lincoln cent? That could be worth some money but others would know more than me.

No, it is smooth, aside from the wear scratches. I need to weigh it, but I am afraid I have lost my scale.

Assuming that second one is a blank planchet, you might be able to determine at least a range of possiblities by weighing it... 3.1g its a 1982 or earlier copper blank... 2.5g and its a 1982 or later zinc blank. That's the best you'll be able to determine.

Based on the color and wear around the edges (not showing any silvery zinc color), I'd bet it's an older copper planchet. Need to weigh it to be sure. Pretty cool! I've found a few newer blanks, but not any coppers. Nice finds.
