I just loooves them solid rolls!

I cracked open one of many CWRs (mixed with some bank-rolled halves) and one in particular took my breath away when I opened it. $OLID $ILVER.

It ended up being 3 bens, 6 x 64-kens, and 11 65ers/66ers. Plus two more 40%ers that came in today's batch.

Not bad - it's been mighty dry for me lately!

If you've gotten this far, let me ask you for your followup comments: What is your favorite kind of PIE? My grandpa's was lemon meringue but I haven't really decided what my favorite is. Maybe Pecan - or even walnut (which is kind of similar)

Great find! Its sure been a long time since I've found a solid roll.

Both kinds u mentioned as well as a good key lime are some of my favorite kinds of pies.

I like peanut butter pie, if that is even really considered pie.

Nice score and happy hunting.

Sweet cull of silver. Regarding the pie - it depends on the season. Summertime - Key Lime; Fall - Apple; Winter - Pumpkin; Spring - Peach/Blueberry. Man, I love pie.

Sweet find kennedyfan. I've only found one solid roll of silver and they were all 40%. I like the 90% you had mixed in.

Awesome score!! Nothing beats a solid roll of silver. It's been a long friggin time since I've found one. Congrats!

Best pie: you've all forgotten about sour cream pies! And the granddaddy of them all is SOUR CREAM BERRY! Sour cream lemon is pretty darn good too. I'd have to say pecan takes the bronze.

If I were to get a roll like that I'm afraid the neighbors would be a mite disturbed from all the whooping and hollering I'd be doing. THAT is an AWESOME find. Sincere 9and somewhat envious) congrats.

BTW: key lime coconut cream with 1-1/2" of meringue.

That's nice looking roll there. I'm still waiting for that solid roll. Pie - chocolate pie.....my mother in law makes pies all the time, I just ask her to male one and she does. She also has a few late 1890's, early 1900's coins so I try to suck up to her.....

I have to say, I've been to Key West and didn't like the key lime pie there...

An awesome find! Not many left like that any more! Pie? Somebody mention PIE? Gee, always chocolate. I guess second would be walnut. My wife one day had some walnuts, but no pecans. She made the pie just like a pecan pie using walnuts instead. I don't remember her ever cooking another 'pecan' pie; they were always walnut. I also love key lemon; along with cherry, blackberry, chocolate walnut, and most other flavors. I'm a pie freak.
