Thnx, lol.. I never hit the dime boxes so I had to keep the clad dime page open for reference .. Man that 02s proof is so toasted.. I wonder if the chemical that makes the proof finish corrode silver.

Coin hound, you got a proof silver dime! That's fantastic. I hardly ever find proof dimes and never a silver. Great find.

Date it was package. The #96 is most likely the employee number that packed it up, just in case there becomes a series of shortages as seen at banks or retail customers, they have a tracking method of who to blame & FIRE.

Thnx dozer.. I went through another box today and found 1 '64 Rosie and a Barbados & Tobago islands penny dated 1983
