I have been trying to full a couple of nickel books for my Grandson, Max and my daughter, Kassidy. I have been searching nickel rolls from the banks around here since November last year. Still got to find quite a few more nickels for the books. Anyways, my finance, Susan, got me a box of nickels last Saturday and I was searching them last night and got to the second to the last roll and found a Buffalo nickel. I told Susan that I found a Buffola nickel and she came down stairs to look at it. I told her it was a 1937 and then I flipped it over to check the mint mark, it was a D, then I saw it was a 3 Legged Buffalo nickel. I just could not believe that I found it! It took me a while to fall asleep last from being so exctied. What are the odds of find it in circulation!

Unbelivable find. Are you going to send it in to see if it is real? Tons of fakes made.

Now that's a sight that I love to see, congratulations on finding a rare error that many collectors don't even have in their collection, and you got it for a nickel! Way to go!

There's been so many great nickel finds lately but that's just amazing! That's sure a lot better than the '05 bison detached leg error nickel I found just a couple of days ago lol.

Finding such a valuable key date coin like that at fv is about as good as it gets. Congrats on such an incredible find!
