Mercury1..great stuff..enjoy the Mercs they are one of my favorites. I would post my finds for the past week but would not want to waste my/your time..found a TON of clad, 2013 dog tags, 2 brass hose nozzles, half a butter knife and about a dozen Hot Wheels cars. Have actually hit a couple of small yards that have some age to them (early 1900's), and came away with ZERO, ZILCH, NADA silver..ugh. Our county has a "no metal detecting" ordinance, so it is private property and some schools and churches,- still working on getting access to some local farm fields before crops go in. Thanks for sharing...ddf

Did pick up $50fv (about $30 90% halves) at melt though so feel ok about the stack growing

I had a good week.

I had a bit of CRH waste buildup in my truck.

22-40%

That's a good week for me. It came from two boxes out of five searched.

Zero, you did well. I searched 6 boxes of halves, all skunk. What is that strange looking coin/ token or whatever above the halves? What a mess it would be to search in my truck. I do all mine at home.

Russell, how many 90% did you buy? For how much?

I do a couple boxes in the truck to maximize the limited bank roll of $1250.

The token is a 2012 London Eye. I guess it is a ticket to ride the big Ferris wheel.

I also found my first 1970s. I was stoked about that find.

Ddf, I'm glad I don't live in your county. I've never heard of a county wide detecting ban. Last year was my first year detecting and I've yet to get out this year. I've yet to dig my first silver. Hope I break that streak soon. I find a decent amount of silver coin roll hunting, but I'd really like to dig up an old silver. HH

Yes the 1970s is a rare find. I've got two. Both from tellers.

I'd say 10 Rosies, 5 war nickels, 3 buffalos, 2 Canadian nickel bullion and a sliver '76S half is a really good week. I found a silver '76S half about a month ago myself. My best find for the week was the 1893 Columbian commem I found on Thursday. I also found 2 40% halves and a '43P war nic. Not a whole lot of silver but Im still happy - esp about finding my first silver commem. I'm now at 95 silver keepers for the year so maybe with a little luck I can reach the 100 silver keeper mark next week.

Good luck and H$H!
