Just when I thought all the silver was gone from the 1/2 dollar rolls this popped up!

Has anyone seen one before? I'm guessing it was part of a collection that made it into circulation.

Any comments appreciated..

Very nice commemorative find Jim! I have found a fair amount of half dollar commems, but never one of those yet. Nice going!

Thanks for the reply, was your commemorative purchased through the mint or something. I'm guessing someone dumped a collection which ended up in circulation..

I agree, this was an exciting fine. The front side is very clean however the reverse has on half the is some what frosted. Looks like it was stuck under something for a while.

Great find. I got one a few months ago from a teller tray. That is the best coin I have found so far.

I was lucky enough to find 3 in a weeks time, about 6 months ago... I wish I could find another, they are really sweet coins!

Great score Jim. I see people find them occasionally but I've yet to find a silver commem. I definitely want one.
