Took 2 boxes of halves to the bank yesterday to turn them in for cash and when talking to the teller I said has anyone turned in rolls other than me? She said no, then kind of thought for a second and said oh yea, I have a roll. She then said the teller manager has 5 rolls and she would love to get rid of them. I asked is she here and I'll take them all. She said, your turning in $1,000 in halves and you want more?? I said I will take them all, if you get them I will come and take them away from you. She pulled out her 1 roll, she called the other teller and she pulled her 5 rolls out and away I went. Out of those rolls were 6 1964 and 5 1968 coins. Just a few more to add to the pile, and I will be hitting that branch a bit more often. You just never know and have to ALWAYS ask.
