You may guess it is a silver dime but no
it's a 1937 UK 6 pence, 50% silver . My
first British silver coin, considering
constantly annoyed by the 5 pence in
dime boxes, this is a nice relief!

Pretty cool, I have some of those in my foreign coin collection, but I never got one from circulation.

5 pence coins are kind of like red headed step child of the Canadian Dime. I have never seen that coin before, but it is pretty cool!

I found my first modern 5 pence today in a box of dimes... He had friends. 11 Canadian, a Barbados 10 cent, and a South Korean 10 won.

I did get one silver 64 from the box. Also scored a 61 Ben from a mwr ($90 searched) and a teller saved a 1958 Washington quarter for me.

I think I've got a King George Cent somewhere, but that is way cooler. Nice!
