It is funny, because it was probably someone with a sticker machine trying to make a quick buck with a cheapo "commemorative".

I'm pretty sure the Obama administration didn't put these on the least circulated coins in the US to try and convince voters to sway an election.

Because no one looks at a coin and says "Well, that decided it for me."

Clearly it was done by someone to make a buck. Just like posters, bumper stickers, window clings, etc are printed and sold to make a buck. That doesn't change the fact that they are political propaganda. This "gem" was part of a set and was wisely disposed of by whoever was saddled with it.

People don't realize how much money goes into this type of thing! The psychology studies, design studies, and it does work, Or it wouldn't make a profit! and even make a difference!

Ah, the recipient class gets to vote in the guy who will steel from those who work and redistribute it to those too lazy to work. Yup, those idiots see a coin like this and say "now there is the man for me, he is going to give me so much money they made a coin in his honor. By the way pass me that porn magazine and a Twinkie..."

I just think it's funny that a commemorative coin that was meant to be a collectors item was thought of so highly that someone cashed it in!

A teller at my dump bank said "I'm keeping this one" I thought I missed a 40%er. Then he shows me a similar Obamafied half I was dumping, I was just glad I didn't let a silver slip by..

I think it was used for babies! It was a kind of pacifier to look at to keep them from crying!

Could have the opposite effect. I bet the babies would "choke" on it!

If you have a cat the perfect place for that coin is in the kittylitter.Throw it in there and let the cat have at it.

That's a good point Red!! The ammonia will help lift the decal from the coin! Therefore saving the coin!

Then to neutralize it! take it outside and throw it in the Bush's! Then bury the whole mess! Later on we can hunt for it with our metal detectors!

Then everyone will be happy!

I had too! :occasion14: I think I covered everyone!
