Hit four towns....Today's Take on Halves

First I went by my hometown's bank and hit them up. They gave me everything but $60.00 worth and said they had to keep those for stock.
I got $140.00 from them.
The coins there yeilded:

Two 1966
four 1967
two 1969


I hit the next town and they didn't have anything at any of the banks there. The lady at one bank told me they had $300.00 bought a couple of days ago from one person.

I hit the third town and they had one roll.

I opened it and the whole roll was silver. That roll yeilded:
one 1965
eight 1967
eight 1968
three 1969

I hit the next town. I hit 5 different banks. One of the banks had nothing but loose coins. She and the other tellers let me pick through them all and I didn't have to buy anything I didn't want. Shame I couldn't have found something there. I should have opened an account just because they were all sweethearts. There was only one other bank that had ANY halves. They had 2 rolls so I bought them. I was able to pick one coin from the rolls.

five 1969



Too bad this seems like my last run for awhile. Not sure when or if these banks will get any in.
