 Today I picked up a full sealed box of dimes ($250.00). I decided today that I wanted to join in on the fun of a daily log of my finds. I come here almost everyday browsing and reading everyone's finds and drool. I just started doing this CRH'n a few weeks ago and have posted a couple threads with certain questions and finds that i had questions with. I have a regular flow of two banks and my credit union has been awsome at getting me boxes of coins and will even hold an extra box for me till after I go through the first one and dump and return for it:headbang:! So starting today I got a box (Tuesdays) the rest of the days of the week will be mostly consisting of CWR/MWR that I pick up around town. Hopefully starting next week I will get two boxes of coins Tues and Thurs and I plan on rotating each denomination each week. Not to mention I will try and post pic's of detector coin finds! Got a new camera still need to get a cord to transfer pics. Let's see what happens!:tongue3:

If you have a 1954 Walking Liberty get that thing appraised! Do you mean 1945?

Nice finds! But I doubt you found a 54 walking liberty. That would be a Franklin.

So u got 10 x 90% and 3 x 40% from just $60 in cwrs? That's a great score, esp with such a great ratio of 90% to 40%. Too bad that bank was so far away. Hope u r able to get the rest of those rolls sometime soon before there're gone.

H$H!

Good finds, but I hope you learned your lesson from this experience. If you are going to cold call on banks, carry plenty of cash.

I honestly wasn't expecting to. I only decided to at the last minute. I want to go back and get the rest so badly. But it would cost me 40 bucks round trip in my car... on a chance.. good chance.. but still just a chance. So decided to chalk it up and remember if going to big city! take at least 150.00!!

I spent the weekend with family that are in a very rural part of arizona. I spent the better part visiting but spent about 4-5 hours out in the front of the house detecting.. Found a belt buckel (seems like everyone finds these, it's my first) a lead bullet (i think its been melted) and about 5 clad pennies all 90's-recent. Yesterday I thought I bought the right cord for my camera, Nope!

Last night (6-9-14) on the way home I got 5 CWR of nickles = Skunkes!

I pick up my first of two boxes of nickles today.. I will post again in the morning.

I am glad to hear that your father is OK after the emergency surgery.
Thank you BuffaloBoy. My father started loosing feeling in his left arm. (Big indicator of a heart attack). Took him to the E.R. and found he had a bone spur in his spinal canal from an old injury to his neck. This bone spur was totally cutting off nerve endings and was doing damage to the point he could be paralyzed or worse if he happened to move the wrong way.(Hence the Emergency Surgery)................So on to the good stuff!

This week thought I would bolster my savings account to get a box of halves next week :) ! So instead of Nickles this week I ordered one box of pennies. Hope to find some dd or some wheats. Any key dates you all look for when searching pennies? I have a list written down. LOOOONG LIST! Just thought maybe someone out there would throw out some key dates maybe I don't already have it on my list. Anyways I will post each day how many rolls i can do after work each day. Thanks in advance for any key dates you kind folks suggest.
