Impressive record keeping there GMan, and that's coming from a fellow stat junkie. Your year-end totals should be a great read.

I took a stroll down stat memory lane to find some of my oldest coin collecting records and discovered a purchase I made at Woolco department store on 12/19/80. It was a 1934-D penny in Good condition for 62¢ (I was 15 years old). 27 years later and I've actually lost money on the deal!

I just have an Excel spreadsheet that I fill out after every search and computes most of the stats for me.

Basically I keep track of every bank visit, what I bought there, what I cashed in there, and have separate sheets for each denomination (with loose coins/bags and fed-rolled coins tracked separately).

Doesn't take much extra time for each search, maybe a couple of extra minutes per box.
