All silver Ikes were made for collectors only, and not for circulation. So if any are found in circulation, then someone dumped part of their collection. Even more of a reason to celebrate when one finds one!

I have gone through about $500 in Ikes this past 6 months. In 1 bag of $150 I found 1 1973 Proof and 1 Silver Eagle round from 1991 other than that nadda.

Can't complain about that. I have gone through $400 and found one proof.

There are double die bicentennial Ikes. When you look at the reverse side of Ikes of dates other than the bicentennials, the islands in the Caribbean are different - different number and different position.
