With the luck I've been having lately I'd consider that a good days finds. Congrats.

I am happy with the SMS finds. That made it a good box. Anyway, picked up a box this morning and SKUNK! Complete SKUNK! What a BUMMER. Whet to the coin return bank that happens to be near another bank I get nickels from alot. As usual they said they do not order coins. I asked for nickels and they sent me down to the fault teller. Well, I have 2 boxes of halves ordered there for next week. I guess the vault teller knows whats what. They had exactly 3 halves there at the bank now. I said ok Ill take um. Received 1 1964 Kennedy. Some times going bank to bank is the way to go. Total halves searched this morning, 1003. 1 silver coin.

I'm sorta new here. What does SMS mean? I know S's are supposed to be proofs but never heard the term SMS.

SMS = Special Mint Set, the Mint's substitute for proof sets from 1965-1967. They were slightly higher quality than standard mint sets but less polished than proof sets.
