circulated Benjamin Franklin half dollars from CRH.

I found my 1955 Ben tonight in a box with 4 more
silvers. I bought a 1955 three years ago to fill the
hole and I knew that eventually I would find it then.

I found 2 1948 Ben which has the lowest mintage
but is not the key date. Most 55s are hoarded by
people and that is why it's so hard to find one.

have a nice weekend!

What a great feeling that must have been to see 1955! Congrats on building the cheapest set of Bens possible.

Congrats on finding the '55 and completing a full set. Im not sure all the dates of the Bens I've found but I know Im still missing most of the harder/earlier dates. Just a month ago I found a '49 Ben in some loose halves which is the first pre - '51 Ben I've ever found. And I know I've still never found a '53 or '55 Ben yet either. So how close are you to completing a full Walker set? I know its probably almost impossible to find a complete set of those including the key dates but I bet you've probably found most of them. I've found a 1918 and a couple from the '20's and several from the '30's so I've probably found most of the post '21's myself I bet.

H$H!

I found about half of them from CRH(34/65).However I like walkers so much that I sold a bag of 40%ers and bought the rest at VG-10 or better grade. My 1921d and 1917s are VG-10.

The '21D is worth some decent money since its the key date. It's kinda interesting that during the '20's and earlier thirties so few Walkers were minted and that several years during that time period no Walkers were even minted.

Thanks! Indeed it's a nice feeling. I remember a very few members have already done it.

Quite honestly, I have not looked at the dates in specific, but knew that the 55p was a scarcer date. I am sure I need other years though, but since I got this one out of the way, the set will now be much easier to complete :)
Thank you very much! Have you found them all or how many more needed?
