Selling out my collection.

I am thinking about selling a lot of my 40s but I really dont know where to sell them for a good profit.

Does anyone have any good suggestions?

In the past I've sold mine to a local coin shop. I'd check the price of silver that day and give them a call. The price they pay fluctuates daily depending on what silver is trading at. They won't give you full price per ounce, but they should come pretty close....I would think any shop would quote you their price over the phone, call around..

yea i tried that and they are only offering me 1.25 per 40%.

as of right now, they are at 2.00 in silver weight only.

Wow that sounds low...I don't remember what silver was the last time I sold some 40%'ers, but I think I got 1.75 for them...

Recently I've seen a lot of 40%ers go for $2.65 each. The more you sell at once, the better you seem to do.

Wow, 2.65 each would be awesome. but all the ones I saw were going for about 1.30 a coin.

Maybe wait for silver to spike at $50 an oz. like in 1981. 8)
