I found a small date 70-S in my change years ago, in MS 62 condition, sold it for 35 bucks

I've found a 1983ddr I sold for $250 and a 1999 wam I still have. Of course, they're both cents.

No it's more. I had it graded when I first found it. Came in at ms-58 I think.

I found a 1992-D Close AM a few years back..... I posted pics of it at the time.

Checking a couple weeks ago, I saw it noted on one of the grading sites that there were only 16 known examples....(mine would be 17).

not sure it's value, but it should be worth something.

I'm doing good, I still occasionally read some posts, but don't check everyday.

I haven't been searching much for the past year as I got involved in my other urban treasure hunting hobby of buying sports card collections instead. Over the past year, I've purchased a few rather large collections (and some smaller ones) that I found at the right (very inexpensive) price and have spent most of my time sorting through those instead of coins. Filling holes from my large childhood collection from the 80's and going backward and forward from there. With the 25 year gap since I last actively collected...lots of holes to fill. I also started getting into the grading aspect of it and not just filling the hole, but keeping track of each card such that I replace it with a nicer one when I find one. Gets to be quite time consuming...

If I don't buy more, only about 1,000,000 cards left to sort through. And yes, that is my actual estimate of the number of cards remaining (probably within 50,000 or so). Between creating spreadsheets for each new set to keep track of holes, grade, and at least a crude level of their value and grading cards when adding or replacing ones in my master set, plenty to keep me out of trouble. When I am just sorting/adding doubles, it does go a lot faster, so my speed should eventually improve a bit. I think I am at around 165,000 cards in my spreadsheets at the moment. Focusing on adding cards from the 70's and before first, before going on to the newer stuff.

I was thinking about adding in a couple bags of coins a week again, but haven't started yet. Maybe this week.

Let me know if there are certain cards you need. I have a very large collection myself (not like you) so I may be able to help. I do miss the old annual log to locate every coin thru CRHing you did.

Gman the 1992 d closed am is one of the extremely rare varieties. Did you send it to pcgs. If it is genuine it is worth alot of money.
