Quite curious of the penny I found a couple years back. Not so sure if it's rare or what but I believe it could be from anywhere in between,
1890 - 1904?
Not so sure though but any thoughts or input would be greatly appreciated.

Found in a parking lot near sewer drain.

& if it even is worth anything, is there any advice anybody could give going about cleaning it?

Thanks in advance.

Cant help you with a value without a date and your going to have a pretty hard time getting a date off of that coin. But I can give you this advice do not clean coins it only hurts the collector value.

copper value, that's about it. give it to a favorite little guy, like a nephew or cousin. it will spark an interest in collecting and history, that's the value within that coin.

Being nearly worn slick, this coin has little value. If you want to clean it, go right ahead. There is no value to decrease.

Being that Indians were minted from 1859-1909, I'm very curious as to how you came up with 1890-1904.

I only tried comparing it to a few that I've looked at on Google, that's all I've got to go by.
