Hi everyone,

This is my first post, I decided to post my finds for this week. I have collecting since I was 12 (I'm 18 now) and I've accumulated a lot of nice coins. I could go on and on about coins and how much I love them but I think this is enough for one post lol. I do 2 boxes of halves a day for the first two weeks of the month. I'd search through more but I don't have that much money. :BangHead: I usually don't find many 90% coins so that's why this is such a shock, this is the second time I've hit a large quantity of silver. I'll tell my story if anyone's interested. :tongue3: I also did a box of pennies and found some nice pre 1940 pennies, I found a 1915 D, 1916, 1918 with an American Flag carved on it, 1927 & 1939. I'd post pictures but I'm using an Ipod camera so the pennies wouldn't show up very well. Anyways, here's some of my finds.

On Tuesday - Box #1
1967, 1968 D, 1969 D
Box #2
1967, 1968 D

On Wednesday - Box #1
(2) 1968 D
Box #2
Skunk

On Thursday - Box #1
1968 D
Box #2
1935 WLH (My oldest), 1963 D Franklin & a Beautiful (Almost BU) 1964 D

On Friday - Box #1
1952, (2) 52 D, 52 S,
(5) 53 D, 58, (9) 58 D
(2) 59 D, (4) 60 D, (2) 62,
(5) 62 D, (6) 63 D
Box #2
Skunk
38 Franklins TOTAL in one box!! :icon_thumleft:
(7 of which were enders!)
I was so excited when I opened the boxes that I raced home to show my family.
The most I found in one roll was four. The picture with the x's represent where the silver was found in the box.

Out of 8 Boxes searched over 4 days,
I found (8) 40 %, (1) 90% Kennedy, (39) Franklins & (1) Walking Liberty

Thanks for reading! :hello:

Thank you mountainman 2! I'll be going on Tuesday to pick another 2 boxes, I'm going to see if I can order another 4-6 boxes. I only have enough for 2 so I'd have to make trips but with the chance of finding more like that I don't mind. I'll post on Tuesday or Wednesday if I find anything. Before I went to pick those 2 boxes, I had to cash in the halves & pennies from the other day and the machine was short $10-15, has that happened to you? If so, is their anything I can do about it if it happens again?

Great box and great pictures very well organized. I like what you did marking with the X the spots where you had enders or silver. Welcome to Treasurenet.

It happens from time to time. If it's only a few dollars once in a while i would consider it the cost of dumping coin. Anymore then that i would mention it to someone at the bank.

I had a similar random find on a whim. I was at the bank paying my rent when I decided to get some rolls of Kennedys to take home and go through... Well the teller told me she only had 4 rolls left so of course I took them... I found 33 silver coins in them 4 rolls 3 of the coins were 1964s!!!

Thanks for your comments guys, I did 2 boxes on Tuesday. I wish I could do more but the money I use goes to the mortgage which is paid on the 15th, after the 15th my budget is limited. The 1st box was a skunk and 2nd box had (1) 90%er.. Didn't find anything like on Friday but I was very happy to find my oldest half dollar to date and it was an upside down ender.

This is still fun if you don't take it too seriously - so often what happens is we score nicely then get skunked for a while and start getting
really down about it - that's a good time to stop and lighten up , not just in attitude but in volume as well - switch from boxes to what
CWR's you can get . Nice score by the way !!!
